Annette has always had a passion in the nursing profession. She studied in Denver, and then attended Colorado State University and graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in 2008. She worked as a Medical Oncology Nurse at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. After several years as a Registered Nurse, she decided to pursue her passion of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Regis University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2013. Since obtaining her Nurse Practitioner degree, she has worked as a Hospitalist, Neurovascular, and Peripheral Vascular Nurse Practitioner, serving various hospitals in the Denver area.

Understanding that prevention is key in any aspect and care of life she enjoys educating her patients on prevention, and improving and maintaining healthy functional lives. She applies these same foundations to the skin care industry. While working in the acute care setting, she attended the Aesthetic Skin Institute, completing her initial training on performing aesthetic injectables. She started up and founded Beauty Refined in 2015 and managed this growing practice as well as working in acute care medicine. In fall of 2018, she decided to fully focus and expand on her growing practice, Beauty Refined. Most recently, in March 2022 she completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine. Always wanting to bring her patients the most recent technology and advanced techniques she believes that continuing education is critical in expanding her skills. Along with her recent fellowship, she has accepted a position with Galderma GAIN, and Prollenium as a national injector trainer. She is thrilled to share her knowledge and skills with new colleagues in the industry. She believes when one can teach it only strengthens their own skills on how they are able to perform. She is driven to deliver a natural looking appearance, always educating her patients on treatments and products to stimulate natural collagen / elastin production, with the goals of keeping everyone looking more healthy, youthful, and more confident.
